Went into weston super models Friday to try and get a 8x7 to squeeze a bit more out of the west 36, guess what came away with a 9x6n this is a special narrow bladed prop for control line racing, great stuff I recon it put another 20 mph on the already speedy airframe.

Sounds good Mike. Do you think that my Edge 540 would benefit from the extra grunt delivered by this type of prop? I so what size do you suggest I get? I have an 11x7 APC on right now.

Try dropping the pitch to say 11 x 6 or 12 x 5 this will make the motor rev more freely and produce more tork and less speed
