Looking at the forecast, the answer is no.
I learnt to fly during a still week in May 1896. Don't think the wind has dropped since then.

Although I hate to admit it, I also have put a plane into the Wessex Water pond. After phoning them to open the gate there was no boat to reach the plane. I thought the old Westland sports hall was used at one stage. But it's now Weston FC, and I have no idea if it's available.
